Candles have been a part of Savannah’s creative makeup since 2014. She was the Workshop Coordinator at a brick-and-mortar shop, and worked alongside artisans to bring creative workshops to the local community. The candle workshops were always her favorite - learning the chemistry behind hand-poured ratios of wax and scent to create ambiances for others always sparked joy.

In 2018, she decided to make some candles and sell a few scents to close friends. The two happenings? The demand for her in-house blended scents and how much she loved candle-making. For the next year, she worked hard customizing scent blends at her company, Camping Mug Candle Co. However, in 2020, during the pandemic, she decided to close the business and focus. on her teaching career.

However, as passions go…she’s back in the candle business! Renamed and rebranded, Candles With Heart is dedicated to her daughter, born with a rare congenital heart defect. With every purchase, Candles With Heart donates $5 of every purchase to help fund research on childhood congenital heart defects.

Every candle is made-to-order and hand-poured in Long Beach, and created with love and conscious consumerism in mind. They are made with a coconut + soy wax blend & wicks, certified clean* fragrances and essential oil blends, and second-hand vintage crystal and glass vessels.
